Using Chase Ink to buy gift cards at Staples

Using Chase Ink to buy gift cards at Staples

I took advantage of the Staples free VGC promotion. in doing so, I realized that even if I pay the GC fee, I could get 100,000 UR for $695 just by buying and using the GC (I know–liquidation is a separate issue). Getting UR for .7 a point is a great deal. Will Chase shut me down just for buying (and probably only buying) VGC at office supply stores? There’s no gaming–I would pay the fees and use them for ordinary spend. Thank you.

That shouldn’t be an issue. Usually the problems come when folks liquidate them in ways that make banks suspicious.
