Using Chase Ink Cash to get Gift Cards

Using Chase Ink Cash to get Gift Cards

I read in one of the comments that you could use your Chase Ink Cash card to get let’s say Whole Foods or Publix giftcards and you would get 5 UR points/$ spent. Is this correct? Would purchase of a gift card count as regular purchase? Thank you.

I assume they mean to buy those gift cards at Office Depot or Staples, which would earn you the 5x. Then spend those at the grocery. And yes, that counts as a regular purchase.

Excellent! I wish I had realized this earlier. We spend a lot on groceries, so in this way I can get a great return (in that “indirect” way).
