US Credit Cards v the rest of world / Asian Airlines
Hello Ben
I love your blog, perversely even more than usual now that I can’t actually fly anywhere.
Reading about travel keeps me motivated to do more once restrictions are lifted.
I have 2 questions really ….
1. On credit cards mileage and points promos most of the stuff you blog about relates to credit cards issued in the USA (US$) to US residents. Sadly most of your global fan base can’t access these offers – do you know how to get info on credit cards issued with points promos in other countries? I live in Singapore and the card offering here doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as generous as the credit cards promos open to US residents.
2. On airlines I’m always amazed at the sheer breadth of airlines you fly. I was particularly impressed with your report on Starlux Taiwan which I haven’t yet flown. Are there any airlines, especially in Asia you wouldn’t fly because of safety concerns ? What about the many domestic airlines in Indonesia and China? Anyone else you’d black list due to safety concerns?
Thanks
