is it worth paying 2.35% to pay taxes with an Aviator red card to get AA miles?

  2. rickyw

All depends how you value AA miles, most would probably value them somewhere around 1.3 cents per point, so 2.35% would be a bad deal. However, if you have a specific redemption in mind where you know you can get more value out of the AA points, it could be worthwhile in a very specific situation.
