One airline Star Alliance Gold benefits on another Star Alliance airline award ticket
Hi Lucky and everyone,
I’m writing just to ask a question.
I’m just wondering if it is possible to use a star*gold benefit in the following case. I have an award ticket issued by transferring points from my credit card to KristFlyer mileage program (my KF status is the lowest tier on star alliance). However, I have a gold status for Asiana club. In this case, Can I present the Asiana star alliance gold card to get the benefits on SQ boarding pass which is already labeled with KristFlyer frequent No?
Thanks,
Patt
Welcome @Pattara Wir – you can call SQ and have them replace your Kris Flyer number with your Asiana number. Then you should get all your Star Gold benefits.

Ohhh, such a rapid response. Thank you so much.
Update: unfortunately, they said they cannot replace it on an award flight.
That’s odd because other airlines do that. When you get to the airport see if they’ll do that.
