Jet Airways Business Class Decent?

Jet Airways Business Class Decent?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi…trying to use up some points and the itin. is suggesting Jet Airways from Toronto to Amsterdam. Thoughts? I’m not a fan of spicy food….any North American options on board?
    Service decent?
    thx!

    Hi there,

I have taken Jet Airways roundtrip from YYZ to AMS. I believe it is now operated with a 777 instead of the a330 I had when I took it. The 777 offers herringbone seats and the a330 offers vantage style seats. Both offer aisle access. The service has been really kind both times I took it. I don’t recall the Note American food options since I love Indian food but they did have some very mild Indian dishes.

    Best!

I’ve flown on Jet’s 77W business class which is what you will be flying. Personally, I’m not a fan of the seat. It’s a herringbone seat as @phize said. It’s the same seat to be found on Delta, Air Canada’s 767s, etc. The seats themselves are decent, however, I find the design to be claustrophobic as the cubicles are narrow (for me at least). Also, I’m someone who takes a lot of photos and video whenever I travel (I have a YouTube Channel), so this configuration is especially inconvenient because of how much you have to twist to be able to look out the window. But I had an absolutely amazing time with the food. Each course that I had was very tasty. This was the case on both of my Jet airways premiere flights. One was between BOM and LHR and the other was between BOM and SIN, also I am Indian so I cannot say how spicy is spicy for you. But for me at least, the tastes added a nice kick! Of course, this is all subjective, but this is just my experience traveling in their business class. If you have any other questions regarding their product, I’d be glad to answer it.

    Hello Craig.

This review by Lucky on Jet Airways is getting a few years old now, but it’s a start.

I think this review would be accurate of the kinds of food and amenities you would get (aka the soft product), but your seat will be different than the one that Ben flew in this report. I’d say the seat on the 777 is inferior to this A330. Staggered Vantage seats are far better than herringbone seats.
