Chase cards in 30 days?

Chase cards in 30 days?

On feb 28th I got approved for both personal and business southwest cards so I could receive buddy pass. (this was very important since live close to Hobby Airport). I then applied for Sapphire Reserve in branch to try for 100k UR points (last ditch effort) and was denied for too much credit in short time frame and recon said not reviewable. Should I call again and possibly get someone else or should I wait till after 2 new cards are past 30 days and call back then? By the way I do have accounts at chase and an 839 eqifax and experian score and I am 4/24 including 2 new chase cards as of march 3rd 2017

I think it might be too soon since you just got those SW cards. I’d maybe go into the branch and see if a banker can request shifting credit around in order to be approved for the card. Other than that, you might be out of luck.

Are you a Chase Private Client customer? That’ll increase your approval chances a bit.

Im not private client and I did offer to close sapphire preferred and recon said it was not possible. But I did read somewhere that someone was able to call back a few times and get someone to do shifting. If I wait for 30 days after to recon aprox 25 days after applying would I still get 100K ur points

I dont believe you would get the 100k bonus since your approval date would be after tomorrow/Sunday when the offer ends.

got chase to reconsider. They weren’t going to reconsider because showed 6/24 but had 2 that were march 3rd so I pushed really hard to look at actual dates and he finally did and did reconsideration and he said he was sending recon to next level should know something in 1-2 weeks he said. both times they told me that I was approved. we will see and I will post back.

If it’s actually approved, it should show up in your account pretty quickly.

Ok they reconsidered but only because I was under 5/24 still not approved because of 2 cards in 30 days but representative told me to call back when 1st southwest is past 30 days and they would reconsider based on only one card in 30days so March 31st I can recon again. He also told me that since the original application was before the 12th of march I would still get the 100k UR points for sapphire reserve in branch offer. So we will see what happens March 31st.

The rep is correct in the application bonus features at least. I think the banks have to consider you for the product you applied for (in this case with the 100k bonus) so as to avoid having banks pull a bait and switch on customers. They don’t have to approve you for it though. Good luck!
