Air France Awards

Air France Awards

Hi All–I was planning a trip to Paris this May and just a few days ago I checked that I could get Business Class roundtrip on the Classic Awards for 125,000 miles. I didn’t book since I was still finalizing the dates. When I get on today to book, the Classic award are no more and only Flex Award for 375,000 miles!!! I booked the the same Classic Business tickets in Apr 2015 for a May 2015 trip so I thought I was ahead this time!
Anyway, do any of you have experience that maybe AF will release more Classic Awards later or this is it! Thank you very much for your advice.

    Hi Sandy!

They could release more space, but it’s not likely to happen until a week or so before departure.

I think you got lucky booking that late last year — generally we recommend people book Air France 8-10 months prior to departure. You can also always put a ticket on hold while you finalize your plans, which might be a good strategy for you.
