United Premier Platinum = Marriott Platinum?

United Premier Platinum = Marriott Platinum?

    Hi All,

Late last year I qualified for United Premier Gold, I have found it extremely useful and highly recommend it. When reading through the benefits of United Gold, I saw the RewardsPlus system, I was immediately intrigued and applied for it. It has turned out to be GREAT and as someone who will only spend roughly 35 nights/year in hotels, has been of tremendous value.

I have done a lot of searching and I can’t see anywhere that has outlined the future of this program and I am wondering if any of you have some knowledge you could share with me. I am also going to acquire Premier Platinum in the coming weeks and would like to know if that takes me up to Marriott Platinum Elite (or Platinum Premier Elite post-merger).

    Thanks so much,
    Alex
