Access to Europe
I’m a Canadian resident. We are able to fly into Europe. I fly United out of Vancouver, however, my connecting flight is in Newark, NJ. Does anyone know if this would categorize me as an unwelcome traveler in Europe because of my connecting flight in the USA?
You should be fine. The restriction is all about where you live. They would be able to see you have connected and did not originate in the US. The restriction is applied to Americans and permanent US residents.
