Which cards are best for paying for Wedding Expenses?

Which cards are best for paying for Wedding Expenses?

My boyfriend and I are getting gay married in New Orleans this next year. Woohoo! But along with that comes with a litany of expenses and what not. Which credit cards should be used for what purchases. Also does catering count as dining on the CSP or CSR?

    Thanks

Welcome @Jamie Carter – which category an expense falls into depends on the business’s merchant code which was assigned when they reached an agreement with the card issuer. MC and Visa codes are *usually* the same and the best source I’m aware of is the Visa Supplier Locator though it’s certainly not perfect. Amex codes are often the same but can be different. If the catering company also has a restaurant then there’s a good chance it counts as dining. If any of your activities will be held at a hotel, those should count as hotel spend. Good luck!
