What To Do With Expiring Citi Thank You Points

What To Do With Expiring Citi Thank You Points

  1. Anonymous Guest

So I made a mistake and didn’t put any spend for the last year on an old Citi Preferred account so they’re now closing it. As I understand it, that means I have 60 days to use up the ThankYou points I earned on that card (I still have a separate Prestige card that is open).

Given that I don’t currently have any active redemptions that I know I’ll want to spend it on in that time, what would you suggest I redeem them for or which program would be best to transfer and “park” them in until I’m ready to use?

I was thinking of transferring to either JetBlue (since I fly them a lot) or LifeMiles since they don’t expire with activity and it’s easy to top up with purchases to make a big redemption.

    Thanks!
