Transferring Citi TY points to Flyingblue

    Has anyone transferred TY points to FB recently? Everything I read says it’s anywhere from instant to less than 24 hours, yet I’m sitting at almost 48 hours and my points still haven’t transferred. Any other data points you guys can provide?

    I’d call Citi and FB and see whats going on. Could be an issue with personal information across both accounts not matching, which is preventing completion of the transfer.

    I have and of course, both sides are telling me to talk to the other side. Very frustrating.

    now going on almost 3 days and still no miles. Called Citi again and they say there’s nothing they can do. Lame.

    Warning to anyone who plans on transferring TY points to FB. Plan accordingly.

    I didnt have any problems with a transfer a few months ago.

    Did you check to make sure that your name and other information matches completely across both programs? Citi wouldnt let me combine TY points between two of their credit cards because the addresses were slightly off.

    Didn’t specifically ask about address, but we doubled checked to see that they had my correct account information. Citi says they sent out the request and their job is done. FB says they haven’t received any transfer requests.

    Drama continues. Called FB again and they still say they haven’t received any transfer request from Citi. One a positive note, they are giving me a 72 hour extension on the award tix I have on hold.
