SW 50,000 bonus cards

    I have a SW premier card. I would like to take advantage of the 50,000 bonus promotion to get to companion pass but the terms state that:
    “This product is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.”

    Does this mean I have to cancel my current card before applying for the new one? I have had the card over 24 months so I am not worried about that part…

    [USER=1408]@JP82[/USER], that is correct. Also keep in mind the language on the timing starts from the date of bonus issuance, not how long you’ve had the card so make sure you’re in the clear there.

    Thanks guys. I applied for the Premier Business card this morning. If I cant find a referral this week I will try to cancel my old card and reapply. My bonus was awarded in 2013 so I am in no trouble there.
