Starwood, Amex Gold 80k offer, vs. Chase Ink Plus

Starwood, Amex Gold 80k offer, vs. Chase Ink Plus

    Hi Ben,
I read your site everyday and have only been part of the hobby for about 2 years and need your advice.
Over the next couple of weeks I am looking to apply for several cards and I want to make sure I do not apply to any cards too closely and get denied. I am planning on applying for 3 Amex cards total, with 2 of them being business cards. Starting from now, thru the end of April.
My wife and I are looking to get the 35k offers for the Starwood card and apply for one under a business that I have for a total of 3 cards. I need to get the application done by the end of March.
I received an offer in the mail for the Amex Business Gold Rewards card with an 80k point bonus in the first 3 months. The first $5000 spent will give me 50k points and then an additional 15k points for $1500 spent and another 15k points for the next $1500 spent in the first 3 months for a total 8k spend.
The only card I have been denied for was the Chase Sapphire, because I had received more than 5 cards in the previous 2 years.
I also have yet to get the Chase ink Plus business card and I remember a post you had addressing the fact that you thought that Chase might start restricting that card as well.
What do you think is the best order of attack for me to take advantage of all these great offers?
    Thanks for you help,
    James Peters
P.S. If you need to know more about the other cards I have that may affect my approvals, shoot me a note. Cheers.

My order would be like this:
    1. Ink
    2. Amex Gold
    3. SPG Personal
    4. SPG Business

I am not 100% sure, but I think it should be ok to do #1 and #2 on the same day. But still I would #1 first and then do #2. Credit hits are getting reported instantly at times.
However, I am not sure if Amex would approve 3 cards in such a short span.I do have a bunch of cards but I am not a churner. Seek advice from the experts. Good luck and let us know how it went.
