SPG Amex; when points?

SPG Amex; when points?

Star points earned by SPG Amex spend take a long time to post — maybe 6-8 weeks. I use this card for the great everyday spend earn rate. After July 31, the earn rate reduces. Since they take so long to post — like today’s spending probably wont post until after the devaluation — I worry that the devaluation of my spend has already taken place. Am I correct or will star points earned (though not posted) through July 31 still convert at 1:3?

    Thanks

I’m pretty sure if a transaction is dated before July 31, you have a pretty cut and dry case to earn the extra points. If you want to be overly cautious, you could save receipts. But, I highly doubt it would come to that!
