    Hi Lucky,

I have my wedding and honeymoon next month and will be spending enough for 2 sign up bonuses.

I currently have CSR and Amex Platinum and am at my 5/24 limit. My fiancee is not.

Do you have any suggestions on the best welcome bonus for us to go for?

I am leaning toward the 75K AA because we live in RDU area, which as an Admiral lounge so we will most likely get our money’s worth out of the $450 sign up. (We would typically spend $60+ on food/drinks at the airport so 8 flights a year to break even is not an unreasonable expectation independent of the other perks).

But for a second one, we are thinking about a hotel card (for which we have none). We don’t have any real loyalties at this point, so looking for the biggest bang for buck promotion. It looks like based on your calculation, SPG or Hyatt would be the most lucrative, but wondering your thoughts for a fairly infrequent traveler.

    Thanks so much!

    Best,
    David

Considering you dont have any real loyalty, I’d consider the new SPG/Marriott cards with a high bonus. Alternatively, you might also want to consider other Chase or Amex cards un order to get more UR or MR points.

What do your other mileage balances look like, and what are you hoping to get out of your points?
