Should I downgrade from AX Platinum?

Should I downgrade from AX Platinum?

I’ve had the AmEx Platinum for 4 years and am wanting to downgrade because of the yearly fee. It was totally worth it the first year, but now I live in Norway and only fly internationally 2-3 times a year. (I use my Norwegian bank card to pay for travel in Europe to avoid having to transfer money to my US bank account for my US credit cards). I’ll always use the $200 Airline Fee credits, and I usually visit lounges 4-5 times a year. Otherwise, I use Uber maybe twice and since I mostly fly United, I use my Chase United card to purchase those flights. Anyway, even though the fee is really high, I’m having a hard time parting with this “luxury” card because of the “what-ifs” of the benefits and the very superficial status it makes me feel. It’s clear to me that my out of pocket expenses would still not add up to this card’s yearly fees…and yet. What do you think? Would another one of the Chase cards be better or even the AmEx Green/Gold? I’d love to have points that I could use for multiple airlines/upgrades.
