    Hi all,

I am looking for my next credit card. I am 2/24, having received Chase Sapphire Prefered and Delta SkyMiles Gold cards in the past 6 months. (I am an authorized user on an AX Hilton Aspire that is a few months old, but I don’t think that affects my 2/24. Please correct me if I’m wrong!) I have held an AA Citibank Platinum Select for about 2.5 years after canceling my AA Barclay Card. I live in CLT so AA is my usual carrier but I’m open to others. My goals are pretty basic: mostly Europe (UK several times a year), business/first on flights, and hotel status. Should my next move be for another hotel card? We’ve been pretty locked into Hilton for some time and have very few points with Marriott. I do not have a business so I’m not looking for a business card. Thanks for your advice!

I’d consider the chase freedom and freedom unlimited cards to boost the chase UR balances…and maybe downgrade the sapphire to a freedom and then apply for the reserve.

You could also get some Amex cards for MR points as they can be transferred to Aeroplan for awards on star alliance carriers to Europe.
