Is there still a $100 credit on the Citi Prestige CC annual fee with a Citigold account? I am seriously thinking of applying but I can’t verify the fee reduction online. Anyone have recent experience with a fee reduction?

I opened a citigold account in December, and I asked them that question. It was still active at the time. It was in the literature that they gave me also when I signed up. I have not applied for the prestige card yet though for take it for what it is worth. If you call the local branch or do a online chat they maybe able to confirm for you. Good luck1

FWIW if you have citigold and prestige card, you get a 15% annual bonus in Thank you points.

You don’t need a Citigold account. Just go apply in a local Citibank branch and the annual fee will be $350 instead of $450. I just did this.

No Citibanks in my state.I went ahead and got the card but I am still not sure what the annual fee will be. I have received different answers from Citi.

I happened to speak to a Citibank rep a couple days ago who said that if you have a prestige card and subsequently open a Citigold account, they prorate the $100 credit for the remaining time on your card membership, then at the anniversary the annual fee is $350 (or $450 with an offsetting $100 statement credit, I’m not sure)
