Hello:
I live in Canada and would like to earn Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles based on everyday credit card spend.
I tried using American Express points and transferring them to KrisFlyer, but only the US American Express Membership Rewards program makes the transfer, not the other one.
However, someone mentioned that perhaps I could used the SPG American Express card and somehow transfer to Krisflyer, but that it might not be a good deal.
Any insight appreciated.
Currently I use Aeroplan miles for Business Class Tokyo-Singapore. It used to be 30,000 miles roundtrip but is now 80,000. Apparently Singapore Krisflyer has better redemption for the route, plus you can book their A380 with them (you cannot book the A380 Business Class with Aeroplan on this route).

hi Paul, welcome. I’m not very familiar with Canadian card offerings but SPG does transfer to KF so that’s certainly an option for you.

As Guarav mentions, the SPG American Express will transfer to KF.

The only other Canadian credit card that can transfer to KF is the HSBC Premier Mastercard but it is a difficult card to get as it requires having at least a HSBC chequing account AND maintaining $100K in HSBC personal or investment products. The transfer ratio is 10 HSBC rewards points to 9 KF miles.
