Flying on AA overseas, which AA credit card?

Flying on AA overseas, which AA credit card?

Is there is a guideline where to park our miles and which credit card to use? (like a “if and then” chart)

I’m flying AA to Asia. Is it beneficial to use any of my AA credit cards? I have Barclay AA Aviator and Citi AAdvantage.

@TTng there are far too many permutations possible to make a chart for something like this. In general, you’ll want to use a credit card that provides a bonus for travel/flights/specific airline so in this case either an AA card or something like the CSP or Citi Premier/Prestige. If you are paying cash and want to redeem Arrival miles or Flex points then you’d have to use those cards.

With mileage accrual, you’re likely to get the most bang for your buck with AA but make sure to look around and see what other partners you are interested in are offering for your fare class.
