Diners Club axing SPG, AA, Alaska & more transfer partners

Diners Club axing SPG, AA, Alaska & more transfer partners

    Hi Lucky

Have you heard that Diners Club is axing SPG, AA, Alaska, Marriott Rewards, Aeroplan and a bunch of other transfer partners as of 1 June here in Australia but on talking them yesterday they’ve told me its happening globally – have you heard about this happening in the US as well?

@Auspointer, Diners Club isn’t very big in the US but lets tag @Lucky and @Tiffany in case they have any information on this.

Definitely happening in Australia; I don’t see any indication of changes in the US market as of yet.

This isn’t uncommon though — many programs have different partnerships based on country of issue, and a change in one doesn’t mean there will be changes to others.

Fantastic news – Diners called me today to confirm they have reversed their decision to axe SPG and AA as transfer partners! Transfer rates will remain the same. They assured me that they will remain as transfer partners “indefinitely”. Great to see they respond to their customers feedback!
