CSP: How long until I can re-apply?

CSP: How long until I can re-apply?

Before I began reading here and there about how all these award cc’s work, I applied for and received a Chase Sapphire Preferred card. I got my points. I transferred them to my United account. After a little while, I cancelled the card.

Now!, I realize that I’d like to get and keep that card. Do you know when the “re-apply clock” starts? Is it from the time I closed the cc account? And if I’ve forgotten, is there a way to find out when I closed the account?

I hope my questions are clear, and I thank you all for your help.

You can reapply for the card at any time although you are not able to get the bonus within 2 years of earning your last bonus. Also, if you have more than 5 new credit card accounts in the last two years you are unlikely to be approved for this card. You can probably call Chase to get the exact account closure date.
