Citi Prestige Card – annual fee charged one month after getting the card

Anonymous GuestI got the Citi Prestige card last month and they charged me the annual $450 fee after the first statement. In my previous experience, a credit card’s annual fee is charged on the one-year anniversary of getting the card. Is this normal?

Annual fees on new cards (unless they are waived for the first year) are always charged at the close of the first billing cycle
