    Lucky:

Quick question – I will be staying in Bangkok in a couple of weeks for 4 nights. I have booked the Grand Hyatt using Cash + Points at a rate of $175/night + 3,000 points per night for upgrade to Club Level. I did the math and I think it’s cheaper to do this vs. booking 4 nights at the Club Level price and getting my 4th night free via the Citi Prestige. My question is this – I can’t use my Citi Prestige card to get the 4th night free when I’m using Cash + Points to upgrade, can I?? My understanding is that the 4th night free would only apply to normal rates or even rates such as AAA.

In order to be eligible for the 4th Night Free benefit, you must book the 4 night stay via CitiPrestige’s concierge and they cannot book cash+points nights.
