    All the offers say you cannot have had “specific name of card” within a recent time period. My question is, if I recently closed a Citi Advantage VISA, would I now qualify for the Citi Advantage MasterCard? They changed from using VISA to Mastercard so it is their same level of card but the brand is different.

    Visa and MC are usually considered two different products so my understanding is that you should be able to get the bonus.
