Checked bag stolen, questions about reimbursement
Hello,
I flied with American on Tuesday, and the ticket was purchased with Citi Thankyou points. One of my checked bags was stolen from the baggage claim. (The system shows the bag was off loaded from the plane, and it’s more than 24 hours, so it’s unlikely somebody else took it by mistake)
American gave me a questionnaire, so I can get reimbursement from them. Since I bought the ticket with my Citi Prestige Card’s Thankyou points, and I know the Prestige card has lost baggage protection, is it possible to get reimbursement from both American and Citi?
