Chase Sapphire question

Chase Sapphire question

  1. Anonymous Guest

My friend added me to his Chase Sapphire account with our addresses matching. How does he actually transfer points to me so I can use? Or can he just deposit them into my specific account…for example he can transfer into my Southwest account? I was thinking he could just transfer UR points to me, am I mistaken?

Rod–he has to transfer them to your specific account. If you go to ultimaterewards.com and log in, there is an option to transfer points. I don’t recall if it used email or the credit card number associated with your UR account but once you enter that he should be able to transfer. I would wait a few weeks before initiating a transfer after changing his address to yours to avoid the impression that the transfer was against the program rules in any way.
