Can you use the CSR delay/cancellation credit to book a flight?

Can you use the CSR delay/cancellation credit to book a flight?

The CSR delay/cancellation terms don’t indicate that purchasing a one-way flight to your original destination is covered by the $500 delay reimbursement. I could, however, see that as a reasonable expense if the flight is less than $500 and results in you not spending any additional money on expenses (e.g. food, lodging, etc.). Does anyone know if a one-way flight would be covered by the credit?

    Thanks!
