Amex Platinum bonus questions

Amex Platinum bonus questions

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Ben,

I currently have an Amex Platinum business card for one of my businesses. I recently received an offer for another Amex Platinum business card for another business that I have. The new offer is for 150,000 MR points after 20k minimum spend. The offer has the “welcome bonus not available to applicants who have or have had this product within the last 12 months” limitation.

My question is does that limitation apply to the person or the business? My second business has never had an Amex Platinum card, my first business has. Obviously my name was on the first business card and will be on the second. Any insight?

    Thanks in advance!

Assuming you have a separate tax ID number for each business, that should not be a problem. You can call AMEX before applying though, to further clarify.
