Amex gold 75K offer

Amex gold 75K offer

  1. Anonymous

I wanted to share a great Amex deal that doesnt seem to be published or advertised.

I recently received a mail to my business with an offer of 75K points if I apply to the American Express business gold (175$ annual fee waived the first year).

I was home a few days later without the actual mail and wanted to apply so I called American Express to ask for the offer over the phone. I just told them I saw this at the mail with no reference or my business name and they did run a check and told me this offer is available – Initially they told me the offer is 50K but I insisted it was 75K. Also, at first they told me the offer would apply if I spent 20,000$ in the first 3 months but after I told them I remembered it was much less they told me that they actually do have a better offer which was: 75K bonus points if I spend 10K in the first 3 months and the annual fee of 175$ waived the first year.

I think that this is a great offer worth mentioning on the site and this offer seems to be available only over the phone.

Would love to hear if other people can get it and the opinions about the offer.

Hi Tal — Amex sometimes does offers like this, but they are generally targeted to specific businesses. I also would definitely not trust any offer being done solely over the phone, as there have been many instances of reps giving the wrong information, or entering the wrong codes during the application, and without physical documentation of the offer it’s hard to prove anything.

    Hi Tiffany

The thing is that I called the Amex main 800 number for applying, and I applied just as any other person would do and received he 75K bonus.

That offer maybe was sent specifically to my business but I think anyone could get it just as I did as I didn’t provide them any information other than my first name.

I do understand he complexity receiving an offer over the phone and will definitely keep the actual mail offer as a reference but I also think it’s something worth looking at.

Tal aka Taltul (didn’t remember I had an account sorry :))
