Qantas Dallas to Sydney

Qantas Dallas to Sydney

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Lucky,

I am trying to book a one way economy ticket to Sydney using AAdvantage miles. I would love to fly on their direct flight from Dallas. I can find availability on Qantas website for flight QF8, but its does not show up on AA’s site. Does that mean Qanatas has not released the award space to it’s OneWorld partners and can’t be booked even by calling AA?

    Thanks!

danni, airlines don’t always release all their saver award space to their partners. I would check on ba.com to see if you can see the space there. If you do, it might be worth a call to AA to see if they can ticket.

Danni, how far in advance are you trying to book? Keep in mind that Qantas opens their schedule ~350 days in advance while AA opens theirs ~330 days in advance.

But like @Gaurav said, just because space is open to QF FF members, that doesn’t mean it’s available to their partners.
