JAL Short Haul Award Seats

JAL Short Haul Award Seats

I have 3 friends traveling in JAL business class from the US to Tokyo and connecting to Beijing. The NRT-PEK flight only had 2 award seats in business so one person is left in coach, though granted it’s only a 4.5-hour flight.

Anybody know if JAL usually opens up another seat in business closer to the travel date? We’re still 10 months out so I didn’t know if I should keep checking every so often or just not waste my time.

JAL is kind of random I think so just keep checking.

When I was flying them from the US to Tokyo I did see space opening up closer to departure. Not sure what the long term patterns over 10 months are but I would definitely keep checking.
