ANA & ExpertFlyer show 2 seats; SQ agent can only see 1

I’m trying to book two F seats on NH5. ExpertFlyer and ANA’s website show 2 seats on a few dates, but United/Aeroplan/Avianca only show 1 seat available. On the phone, a Singapore agent could only see 1 seat too.

Does ANA release extra seats to members of their own mileage plan? I was under the impression that wasn’t the case. Could there be anything else going on?

    Thank you all!

Hi Andrés! Absolutely, airlines often release additional seats to members of their own program. Based on what you’ve said above, it sounds like there is indeed only one seat available to partners. 🙁
