Am currently booked in Club World seating in seat 9L on an air Belgium A340-300 flight through mileage redemption with AA. When I look at the seating on the BA website, row 9 is not shown, only rows 1-7. I also requested direct aisle access seating. Does my seat actually exist, but isn’t shown because it’s on the 2nd level? Just curious. Thank you!!

Hi KauaiTraveler,

To clarify…. you booked a flight with British Airways (redeeming AA miles), and the flight is scheduled to be operated by the Air Belgium A340?

If so, then all seats have direct aisle access in business class.

I wouldn’t really trust BA’s website to show an accurate seat map for the Air Belgium leased plane.

Thank you, rickyw! Yes, that is correct.

I also called BA and they assured me that this was the case. The BA website view of this A340-300 seating cuts off everything after the 7th row!

Seatguru couldn’t help much either, and they don’t even include air Belgium as an air carrier.

Am looking forward to this flight after reading Lucky’s review!
