We recently took a family trip to South Tyrol, the gorgeous autonomous region in the Dolomites, in northern Italy. In this post, I’d like to review the 47-key, family owned Miramonti Boutique Hotel, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), also part of the Hilton Honors collaboration.

Folks you are completely right but have you looked up where Ben is living? I doubt that there is anything hilly within 200 miles where he lives. Let alone mountains above 1000m .

@ LP -- Well, since we were traveling with kids, we didn't actually spend much time in the spa area, aside from me taking pictures, and going to the pool with the kids during "splash hours." You're right, a lot of these resorts seem more adult oriented because of the spa focus, but there's also so much to do in the area that's outdoors, which is great for kids.

Just curious -- I have stayed in several SLH hotels using Hilton points over the last year (I am Diamond), and consistently got the worst room in the hotel. What are upgrade chances in SLH hotels for HH Diamond?

So glad to see you go to my favorite hotel! We come back every year after going for our honeymoon. Carmen, Klaus, and the whole team make it a special experience every time.
