I love these games - just pointing out my favorites. I love AirwaySim, but that's expensive to be honest, and doesn't have features I like, such as IFS and IFE. Then I really like Airline Empires, which is fun. There's also IFS and IFE, but the loadfactors need to be recalculated to be honest. Then, my favorite: Airline Enterprise. Still in Public Beta Testing, AEn, as it's called, is really great. It's done in real time, so it's the most realistic, and unique features like baggage fees are being implemented, so it's my favorite by far.

Airline Manager & Airline Manager 2 are very flat and unreal games. I very miss CyberAirlines, no other game had enjoy me like it.

AirlineSim is best but it's very challenging and the learning curve is steep. There are permanent and temporary gameworlds. There is a great community and several online tutorials (look on Youtube for Let's Play Airlinesim series, several seasons, by Alfapiomega). The demand model is shaped on real world demand but you can reroute traffic flows using competing hubs. There are also several investment-open countries where you can set up foreign subs, same as in real life. Each flight is given a rating based on your price, onboard product, image, seats etc. and the flights are ranked by ratings. Plus you get the most complex connecting pax system of all sim games (Airwaysim for example does not have connecting passengers) and you get also ground networks so if LHR slots are full and yet there is still unmet demand you can fly those LHR pax out of LGW. Compared to other online airline sims, AirlineSim is a strategy sim, whereas Airwaysim and Airline Empires are more of a scheduling sims.

AirlineSim is definitely the most realistic airline management game. I've been playing it for years. Guess it can be quite hard for beginners, though.

They are lots of fun and can be VERY addictive! I've done airlinemogul.com but airlinesim.com is by far perhaps the most realistic (albeit complicated).
