There is stairs and it was in use about a month ago (~04/2026) while the elevators were being fixed ... but you wouldn't like that, it was fairly convoluted and felt like dimly lit staff onl...

Yes, there is an air side bus from T5 to T3. I had a long layover traveling in J on BA and as an OWE I thought I would spend time in the Cathay lounge. Unfortunately, my T5 boarding pass alarmed red (agent actually showed me) and I was not permitted entry into T3. This was Sept. 2025.

Ah yes, nothing says ‘quiet ambience’ like gatekeeping over canapés. Was considering other lounges during our 10hr layover from the US, but now we will make sure to go out of our way to infest this one...

Staff very accommodating, professional yet friendly in the First Class lounge at Heathrow. Argentina (serving staff) was especially helpful in assisting with food and drinks orders. All the staff were welcoming and fantastic.

That’s a good thing Simon. AA customers can use their own lounge. And keep their hop on hop off conversations out of the Cathay lounge!
